I hate my body sometimes. Fully expected my temp to have dropped further but no. If original predicted ovulation was right i would now be 16dpo. I’ve never gone past that without af coming when not pregnant. I am fully expecting it today. I certainly feel like she’s on her way. Dull cramping in uterus and in my back. Still the same beige coloured cm. I feel like my body’s trying to wind me up as long as it can. I just wish it would bloody start already. It’s crazy tho because if I did ovulate cd36 my chart looked triphasic until it dipped yesterday. But if I didn’t ovulate until cd43 then I wouldn’t be due af yet. I’m giving up worrying about it today. Put on a pad and now just gonna get on with my day. Feelin confident af will be here by the end of the day. I just want to get on with trying again. Had cuddles with my nephew again yesterday. Makes my heart ache

@HalfricanMa yes my periods have been wacky and fertility delayed with my nursing toddlers. I can get pregnant again around 15-18 months postpartum pretty consistently but my periods don’t regulate for a long time. Fx fx fx!

I think my ovulation was yesterday because I had my temp rise this morning. So thankful that it was a bit delayed too because I thought we’d miss it. I got the peak around 1pm on tuesday then Wednesday night was DH’s homecoming, so we‘ve been making up for lost time . I didnt get the temp rise until this morning. I think we’re in for a fair shot this month, surprisingly.
Although this entire time he was gone I only had 1 period which was in December. That’s once in 4 months so im wondering if breastfeeding is still mitigating my chance to conceive. DS turned 18 months around Christmas.
Anyone else experience infertility while breastfeeding toddlers? I finally ovulated cd 26 so that’s helpful. Hoping for our bfp. We started trying in May but i didnt start a pp period until clomid july & aug. I have a third round left so if af gets me i’ll try one last round.

So happy your ovulation held off until DH got home. You should be in with a really good chance!

For me, once my cycles return while breastfeeding they have always been as regular as ever.
It usually takes me 12-15 months to get my period back when breastfeeding except after my first it took only 4 months (and I was pregnant 4 months later. That's also the only time it did take that span of time to regulate)

But I feel like my experience is the one in the minority lol - it certainly does seem to be more usual for breastfeeding to cause delays in ovulation

I'm loving these wondfos only got a 8 pack. Once lines start showing on the 25miu tests I'll be happy. Took a orange wondfo 25miu with the same fmu and was negative so levels are still very low now I'm anywhere from (6-8dpo)

AFM, 12 dpo BFN.
I am really considering buying a Mira device because this upcoming cycle will be cycle #11 TTC. I am really wondering if normal manual OPK are causing me to miss a subtle earlier high LH.
Sometimes I think it's crazy to even consider spending 200$ on such a thing, but I think it might make all the difference.

Thanks I'm sorry you got a bfn. Spending $200 does seem like a lot. But I looked up what you were talking about and seems like a good deal for all you get for it. If you do get it hope it brings you a bfp.

I have 4 of these left. First one I took when I got them and was negative so I know its picking up hcg now. I know I'm early and seeing the bfn on the 25miu is normal for now. Just hope others will have nice lines in a few days.

Fmu one is darker but my sample was a longer hold.
Took picture in case then out to compare progression.

Relieved to hear you both have experienced fertility resuming about the same timeframe pp as I’m at now. I worried I would have to completely wean before conceiving. DH’s military deployment made DS even more of a milk monster than he already was! Haha
We’ve been thinking it may be important to wean to mitigate miscarriage risk if I do conceive, though tandem nursing sounds good to me too. Idk if it actually does pose a threat of miscarriage or not.
Strangely, being forced that break in ttc actually relaxed me a little.
Of course that was months of parenting alone and my toddler is the kind that parkours from chairs & kitchen table to counters and then juggles knives!! Guess I’m feeling ok not adding a newborn quite yet!
Thankful it’ll still be 9 months after a bfp.

@HalfricanMa i have nursed through 5 pregnancies so far and tandem nursed for a time with 4 of my toddlers. I don’t think it increases miscarriage risk! Fx!
