10dpo and a big fat really think thats me out as my cervix isreally low too but i guesse ill just have to wait it out ive got 1 frer test but i think im gonna wait now and see if af shows up and if imlate retest again how is everyone today x

thanks hun ive just been working it out and with ds i got my bfp at 9dpo but with my dd it wasnt untill 13/14 dpo so maybe im still in the game im going to try really hard not to testnow untill at least monday but hopefully i can hold off untill wednesday as the bfn's are starting to bother me lol hopefully nexttime i test it will a big x

I'm just plain old confused this morning. Two things - OPKs and temping!

OPKs - I used Tesco ones this week. Got a positive reading last night (it got darker so I reckon it was positive). However, I then got some ICs in the post and thought I would try one of those as I will have to switch onto them and I wanted a comparison. Plain old negative. Not even a hint of a line. It was 5 hours later but surely there would be something. Any ideas?

Temping - well, I didn't get to sleep until really late last night (about 1.30am). Woke at 7am and took my temp whilst stilll in bed. Was 96.63 F. BUT then went back to sleep (after about 45 mins of being in bed but awake) and then took my temp when I woke at 10am and it was 97.41. Which temp would you go with? I think maybe the first one as it is closer to the time I would normally wake in the weekand I had had at least 5 hours solid sleep. What do you think?

This TTC lark is so confusing....! Who'd have though?!

def the firsttemp hun as u need to have had as many solid hr sleep as poss also some people only get ine surge detected on opks then i goes neg hope that helps xxx

UPDATE - just did another Tesco OPK and still +!

Seems I should throw the ICs away and take a trip to Tescos for some more of theirs!

It may well be that the Tesco ones are more sensitive...

With your temp, I agree with mum2beagain...use a temp adjuster with your first one.

Hmmm I have no clue about the OPK's that is part of the reason I am hesitant to use them, I've heard about so many discrepencies.

Definitely go with the first temp. I temp mine around the same time every morning before I get out of bed and after a solid 7 hours of sleep (usually).

That's what I thought but I checked them and it is the other way round - the Tesco ones are less sensitive. I think I will stick with the Tesco ones and leave the IC alone for now.

as long as the stays away im still in with a shot ive not got any tests left now except ebay cheapys that are crap so ill use them untill wednesday when af is due and ill order some asda tests on my hme delivery

I've just asked to join the February testers as I think (hope!) that I might have O'ed. I had positive opks yesterday and the day before, I've had EWCM, a high and soft cervix, and my temp has risen quite a bit this morning (I know I don't have much of a base line to go by but with all the other indicators I'm going to go with it for now!).

So... I'm going to call myself 1DPO and test on the 5th Feb if hasn't got me by then.

My temp. rose about .2 degrees higher than normal today, but I did test about 15-20 min. later than I usually do so I think FF is mad at me
