Aww Mrs Beany, sorry AF got you. I'm in that terrible place too, impending AF.. It just sucks. I also get nausea during the LP. And even though I know I get it every month it's still hard not to hope it's an early symptom. Blah. One of these months it will be, right?

I know I'll be waking up tomorrow morning to AF. I'm not even excited to see what my temp does anymore, I'm not looking forward to poas. I don't even know how many days my LP is, if AF starts tomorrow it will vary by two days. :/

Beany I'm so sorry that AF showed for you! The cramps are the worst part of it all I think!

I'm the same way with the nausea before AF, the mind and body are cruel when TTC

At first, I was so uncomfortable with the soft cups, thought it was going to get lost (totally not possible) but after a few tries, I am very comfortable and leave them in up to 12 hours or so after we BD..... good luck

Weebles I'm so sorry You're right in a tough time period to be trying (the 6-12 month range). I get how much it sucks! You'll make it through though! Of that I'm certain!!

Weebles, I'm sorry I was so heart broken when I got my AF last cycle.... so what did you use last cycle? I can share what some of my friends (who are prego) told me to do, first, get some pre-seed (did you know that saliva can kill sperm) Also I have a fern scope, its the best $20 you can spend... it can take the place of a OPK, so as soon as you see ferns, your in your window..... (I almost missed my O because I O early in my cycle, so thanks to the scope) also, someone told me to use the clear blue advance for OKP, it takes the guess work out.... Also to use some cups after BD and keep them in for 12 hours (this help keep the sperm that fall back at the cervix and give more of a fighting chance to swim up) also I started to use FertilityAid pills daily.

I was reading about how toxic tampons can be and am going to try to only use pads for the rest of this cycle...some women said using pads shortened their cycle. Anyone ever used a softcup / diva cup for AF?

Ask, I bought a moon cup to use after BDing and used it last cycle. But then we I had the loss, I thought it was probably best not to use it. I don't feel 100% about it catching everything. Maybe I'm putting it in wrong.

Also, did your last cycle go back to normal after your loss? I'm 3 days past my 'usual' O day and no temp rise and my CM has all dried up.

Sarah - did you use the moon cup the cycle you conceived? Maybe it helped? My last cycle was fairly normal except that I had a big temp drop at 9dpo that spiked back up the next day and spotted for 4.5 days before AF showed up on schedule. I had a normal 29 day cycle and O'd on CD16-17 I think. Can't help but wonder if it was another chemical although I never got a BFP - just some evaps. Are you using OPKs?

Yup I used moon cups last cycle that I got my BFP. Of course I can't be sure if that was why, but every little bit helps. Plus like Belle said, the little mess thing is great.

I'm glad things went back to normal for you and you O'd. I'm CD26 now with no O. I usually O CD22 or 23. I did OPKs from CD20-24 and all very negative. I don't usually get 2 lines that are the same etc, but these tests had only 1 line. I really thought it would all just go back to normal this cycle

I'm sorry this cycle is off for you, Sarah...may just take 1 cycle to get back to normal. I was hoping I'd be one of those people who got pregnant immediately after a CP but maybe this cycle. FX for you!
