Still nothing on the scan. Hcg over 10000 this morning.

One more scan tomorrow then will be admitted to clear out tubes and uterus

I have been reading stories of babies not showing themselves on scans and hcg doubling like normal. And eventually the baby shows up on the scan.

I Think the doc is going to wait to clear out and will just do a larascopy thing tomorrow...

Im curious why they dont want to wait a few extra days ? I would be hesitant myself to let them do a dnc before 7 weeks . I have read plenty of stories where women waited and saw a heartbeat . Hopefully everything works out for you hun

Thanks ladies. My husband wants to wait. I think the doc is going to do the larascopy and check for himself internally if there is a pregnancy before suggesting we clear things out. I think I misunderstood.

Yes I'm glad you're waiting. HcG doubles much slower with ectopic pregnancies and your numbers are looking great. Sometimes babies don't show up on scans until at least 6 weeks.

I had some spotting yesterday evening and some more this morning but nothing for the rest of today. My temp has continued to rise. FF has me at 15DPO but the FRER was negative this morning. I’ve no idea what’s going on.

Praying for you and your little bean @Tesh23 numbers still sound great, my earliest scan was at 6+5 so I'm not sure if they can hide!

Tesh - I don't know of anyone personally, but having now worked with a fertility clinic closely in this whole journey, they don't even schedule scans until we've reached the 7 week mark because they claim babies are hard to find before then and of course they don't want to worry their patients. Now, if you consider this wait is for people who KNOW they are pregnant because they had an embryo transfer and at least two bloods to confirm it, that's definitely saying something, and worth waiting a few days or even a week before making any big decisions. If you've stopped bleeding and are not in pain, it makes sense to wait. Obviously if that changes then you might want to not wait. It's a personal choice, but certainly not one for which you can't get a second opinion first.

Thanks cofostermom. Yes it does make sense to wait. I think he scanned me because I had a bleed, but no pain etc. he is also a specialist in ectopics which I didn’t know when I booked him, so I feel he is paranoid about it because of that.

He is going to scan me at 9am just now (third scan in a row not sure what he’s hoping to find 16 hours later). If nothing he said he’ll do the laparoscopic surgery
