***January 2020 Testing Thread***

Absolutely seize the moment @3 girlies if you think you’re healthy and well then why not? Have you spoken to your specialist doctors ?

Thank you for commenting on the line, the fear of it not being a sticky baby is so nerve wracking x

Fitz - congratulations!

Lightening - the month I got pregnant with my daughter I didn't ovulate until CD16. My cycles were only 27 days apart at the time. I know your cycles have been really short so hopefully the extra vitamins and tests you've been doing have helped to lengthen your cycle. By looking at your chart it does look like you ovulated on CD16 and are having a slow rise. Mine do that sometimes too.

Cycle day 13 for me. I also am not sure if I've ovulated yet and am having a slow rise too. Perhaps my temp will drop tomorrow morning and I'm actually currently ovulating. Will DTD tonight to be safe until I know ovulation has occurred. Last month I ovulated on CD13, so I'll be happy if CD14/15 is my day as my cycles have also been quite short.

Hey all! Long time lurker.. I am trying for a rainbow baby, lost my baby boy at 23 weeks in 2016. I took it very badly (my two older children saved my life) but now I have FINALLY worked up courage to try again.

And of course I am already obsessing. My goal was to be chill and let be what would be.. but no. 6/7 dpo and already using my tests.

There is something that catches my eye but it might just be line eyes.. what do you think?

had forgotten how horrible this 2ww is!

Good luck everyone ive decided im not buying anymore of the packs of 20 cheap tests im going to wait each month and rely on no fr :) i will carry on with ovulation tests they put my mind at ease and help me no if and when i could posdibly be ovulating as far as i thought going from last 2 periods and ovulation test i would be 16 dpo now and still bfn but no fr ive looked bak over the 6 months of ttc and i have had one 30 day cycle ive got it in my head that this month is going to be the second one. Fed up now and doing my own head in with it all . Good luck ladies and congrats again to all with there bfp x

@Fitz2020 that is an absolutely amazing line for 10dpo!!! Huge congratulations to you! :happydance:

Sorry @Leesa :hugs: I hope you know either way real soon!

Welcome and Good luck @bke I am not familiar with that type of test to know where the 2nd line is supposed to be, it's very early though so hopefully in a few days you will get more of an idea! Sorry for your loss <3

Fitz - congratulations!

Thanks Joanna :hugs: FX for you that you do ovulate CD 14/15!

I am really hoping that I did ovulate day 16, it's mostly the LH strips that have got me doubtful but they are cheap so perhaps not very good!
I gave up after day 14 because my temp seemed to drop on 15 but perhaps I should of taken one that day and might of had a positive since it dropped even more the next day :haha: but oh well! Covered it with BD anyhow so hopefully we get lucky this month, even though my last few charts have looked perfect with BD timing, I just hope the vitamins B & C give me that longer LP! [-o<

Its also weird that my temps haven't jumped anywhere near as high as they did post ovulation last month, but they are on a slow increase so as long as they continue to increase I'll keep on hoping! Also I've been having trouble getting to sleep at night the last few days so only been getting about 5-6hrs total sleep so I guess that could be impacting my BBT as well!

Just been catching up with you all! Fitz that's amazing, congratulations!

I'm currently 2 days late, it has happened once before and it was delayed by stress so we will see. Currently symptom spotting, not much to go on atm other than occasional wooziness and a hot flush this morning. Going to stick it out another day or so to test....

@Pineberry I love how intermittent fasting is a thing now, I have never been a breakfast person, mum wasn't a breakfast person so would forget to feed us when we were younger lol she told us that around midday we'd start whinging and she'd go whoops you haven't eaten all day  so I think from that I just never got the hang of eating breakfast so even now it will get to 1/2pm at times and I'll suddenly realise i havent eaten all day. When we were first married everyone used to tell me how important breakfast is and it's the most important meal of the day and so on. My hubby then heard that if you don't eat breakfast you won't be able to lose weight because your body goes in panic mode and holds onto the weight (which I told him sounded ridiculous) But now 8 years on I have been learning about this intermittent fasting which apparently I've done all my life by accident

So true, our bodies are amazingly adaptable! Soon after I started doing IF some time in 2018, I didn't even become hungry anymore in the mornings, and I felt way more focused, sharp and energized during the day. Nevermind the fact that I lost more than 20kg in just a few months! It's really one of the best things I've ever done for my health and body :)

You know, this cycle my temps immediately after O were also really low compared to other cycles, definitely had a bit of a slow rise and I panicked and thought I might really have progesterone issues. But it's totally normal and nothing to worry about. And I did end getting my BFP this cycle so a slow rise definitely doesn't mean anything bad at all :)

@Fitz2020 - Didn't I say that it was the start of your BFP a few days ago!? ;) Congrats!!! Excited to have a few fellow October-bumpers!

As for me - have officially run out of cheapies so today (19 DPO) was the last time I tested. I'm really pleased to see that they have gotten darker each single day, that definitely calmed some of my worries. I also didn't keep on temping. Today I've got my first prenatal appointment, so I'm super excited to set a date for the first ultrasound which should be set around 12th of Feb. :haha:

Hi guys,
Just did a chance testing cos I've been feeling off but I'm pretty sure I'm only 7dpo... Can this be right?

Are you going to do a journal since I’m September and your October :haha:

Jessduejan - I can see that line. Are you sure you are only 7dpo? I guess some women can implant at 6dpo, so it could be possible I guess. Was the picture taken during the first 5-10 minutes, otherwise it could be an evaporation line and not be accurate.

So it looks like I ovulated at CD11, my temp has been on a slow rise and there was no dip though to indicate ovulation. Has anyone else ever had this, every other month my temperature dips and then goes up.

On a positive note, when looking at my chart from the month we conceived my daughter, my temp did a slow rise and never got that high. Just like you were saying Pineberry. I also just still have this good feeling about this cycle. I guess only time will tell.

@JessdueJan it looks positive to me too. I hope it is.

@Pineberry thank you, yes you were spot on! I’m 11DPO and just so worried about it being a sticky baby. Going to get more tests to test again this evening. My MMC in 2018 just makes me so worried. I won’t relax properly until I see baby and even at that until I feel baby love which is such a long way off

You mean a journal on here, on these forums? Never thought about doing that, but I might! I love writing so why not! :)

Heyy :) to be honest I feel really disheartened right now... due to my previous loss, they made me do a beta today, got the results via the app 20 mins ago and my HCG is at 653 mIU/ml... Doctor texted us that that is appearently "very low" and I should come back in a week to do another beta... :sad1::sad1:

Maybe Im in denial but I just cant seem to believe that thats "VERY LOW".... Almost everything Ive seen online says that for where I am at right now, the minimum value is 426... and my pregnancy tests have darkened literally every single day...

Symptoms wise, boobs SLIGHTLY tender, mild pressure all day in uterus, some twinging/pulling, had quick bouts of nausea and queasiness in the last couple days.

Feeling so down right now. :(

Awww no hun I'm sorry, I'm sure everything is fine and they just want to check again to be on the safe side.

I think the doctor you seen could have been a bit more reassuring though. I know it's hard but try not to feel too down about it. Stay positive. This baba is staying put! No word of an ultrasound then??

I'm the same. My boobs are soooooo sore its unreal, really swollen. I'm absolutely shattered and like you have had little bouts of nausea but nothing major yet.

Keep smiling hun
