I'm going to make snowman soup to go in the christmas hampers. I was thinking about just putting in sachets of hot choc but OH said he wants me to do the soup again as it looks more personal.

sorry for the snowman soup novice question, but what do you mean do the soup again? what else do you put in the cones?

im putting choc powder then mini marshmallows then some choc buttons on top tie it with ribbon and slide a candy cane through the ribbon x

Pretty much as Rosie said, I done them last year and they do look nice. I used smarties last year which left horrible bits in the bottom so will just use plain chocolate this year.

I am loving these and need to make some for my boys can I ask are they fleece or felt and where did you buy the materials from please x

I made these last year for my 3 and am currently making 2 more for a friend .

I know the next holiday is Halloween but I had a lovely hour with my boys today making Christmas tree decorations was lovely to see them get so excited! only reason I'm excited about Halloween is because it's ds2's birthday lol.. can't believe he's going to be 4. They grow up too quickly!!!

Finally got some varnish today to coat our salt dough decorations. They've been sat in the conservatory since we painted them so goodness knows what state they're in lol. I'm sure the varnish will toughen them up though....

I'd say large hun so you've got plenty to tie up at the top. Sorry I can't give you any dimensions though because I've not bought any myself yet lol

its my 1st time at doing snowman soup and ive ordered medium oones think they are something like 37cm long and they look about the right size

I brought medium ones and there huge! I think large would have been too big for snowman soup.
I'm making one up as a sweetie cone soon and I'll post piccies when i do to show how big they are.
