Red & Gold is the ultimate Christmas colours..so warm and christmassy

My living room is all browns and olive green too so I think red and gold match better too - here's a picture of my tree from last year!

The decs I have at the moment are gold, silver and purple but I'd like to get some more traditional colours if we have the extra money for them this year

We are in a much nicer house this year and OH has promised we can gt a new tree so hopefully I'll get decs too

We need to get some more baubles this year, we didn't know how many to get and when we got them all on it looked a little sparse!

Brought some more Xmas pressies for Isabelle today


- some Peppa pig crayons for her stocking
- a bubble machine
- peppa pig pjs
- 2 DVDs
- 4 tops
- 1 dress

I'd love it to snow on Xmas .... I think summers arrived for us in kent 28 in my back garden today laying on the lilo in the pool beautiful! Ive only just got to use the pool o brought lol Pleas don't snow just yet

Wooo I started my shopping! DS has discovered a love of trains and toy cars and I found a mega blok james for £4 and hotweel cars for 99p each in tesco. Also got a net body scrubber thingy with winnie the pooh on it for his stocking. Lots more ideas too His birthday is in October though so may have to split stuff between the two.
Has anyone got a trike for their lo? We were thinking about getting one but as DS is almost 2 dont know how much use he would get out of it. Our other thought was a toy kitchen as he played with one at the weekend and seemed to love it.

I am only going off advice from others but have been told toy kitchens are great investments and will get a lot of use. I am getting my kiddies one for Christmas this year myself.
